I’m obsessed with capturing the connection people have with one another and celebrating life in all of it’s magnificent mile markers. If you’re wanting to create and tell your story, then I’m your girl.
I want you to come to your session fully present and absolutely comfortable. You don’t need to worry about anything at all! As a mother myself, I completely understand how messy and out of control things can seem with kiddos. I can also sympathize with the teen who feels like everything is just wrong. Those fears are real BUT fear not, I have some tricks up my sleeve that can entertain even the toughest crowd. You can trust that I will be working hard to capture the emotion and authenticity of, well…YOU!
My Process
Planning
Your session should look like you! Whether it’s a family session or a senior session, these photos will reflect you. You’ll get a questionnaire to help me get to know you better. We’ll talk location and style. And I love it when we can meet in person or zoom call beforehand to help with those day of “meeting a stranger to take my pictures” jitters.
2. Week Of
I’ll finalize all of the details about your session in the week leading up to your big day. I’ll send over some helpful prep tips and handy dandy styling tips as well as a list of a few things to have on hand the day of. Think snacks for kids or water for hydration.
3. Session Day
Can we skip to the good part already? Yeah, you made it and all you need to do today is be YOU! If it’s a family session, your only job is to be focused on them, into them, loving on them. If it’s a senior session, we’re gonna talk dreams and goals.
4. Beyond
I’ll send over a couple of sneak peeks from our time together within 48 hours. I’ll have your complete gallery to you within 3 weeks (sometimes sooner). Tout fini!!

Family
Time stops for no one, so that’s why it’s important to capture those memories now. Family sessions with me are not about perfect poses because that’s not how we live life. I don’t expect or encourage statues, but I DO encourage running, jumping, dancing, cuddling, and so much laughter.

Fine Art Mini Portraits
Fine Art Mini Portraits are a more personalized alternative to the traditional school photo. They are beautiful, natural light photos that spotlight a child’s personality. No green screens, no fall or marbled backdrop.
I spend time with each child to learn what makes them laugh, allowing them to get comfortable in front of my camera. The result are images that are full of expression and unique to each child.

Allow me to introduce myself…
I’m Shannon,
an Arizona transplant but a born and raised Vermont native.
I grew up in the northwest corner of Vermont in a very tiny town on the Canadian border. I left the country life for college in RI to pursue a degree in Dance/Performance. After college I moved west to Seattle to pursue a dance career, then on to AZ where I met my husband. Over the next 15 years the two of us bounced from coast to coast, finally finding ourselves back where we started together, Arizona. Along the way we’ve had 3 kiddos and our first dog.
My babies were my first foray into the world of photography. They were willing, albeit captive, models for me to practice on. I loved snapping pics of everything from the details of their tiny toes, to landscapes of baking in the kitchen, to creative yearly growth portraits.
In early 2020, a friend of mine, and fellow photographer, encouraged me to turn my passion into a business. And then she was my first client for her engagement pictures. After that I was hooked!
