Client Experience

Getting your pictures taken is a big investment. Because of this your client experience should be spot on. Today on the blog I’d like to walk you through what an experience with Body of Grace Photography looks like.

First…

Woohoo, you’re booked! Once I’ve received your down payment towards your session with me you’ll receive a questionnaire. I use this to find out all sorts of information about you. I love to know who I’m working with and why you’ve decided to have your portraits taken. I also like to get an idea of what kind of vibe you’re going for. It helps me get an idea of the ages and stages of my clients, likes and dislikes, and how I might be able to better coach you through our session.

Second…

Let’s talk about style! Once the questionnaire is filled out I have a better feel for what kind of style you’re going for. Each of my clients gets a personalized style board for their session. I also have a small client closet so depending on what kind of vibe you’re going for I’m more than happy to lend out my own items. If you’re looking to buy something I’m more than happy to connect you with my favorite online shops to help you achieve the look and style you’re aiming at.

Third…

Location, location, location. Once we’ve squared away the who and the vibe, we then work on finding the perfect location. I have several locations that I like to shoot at that have a diversity of scenery. I also love shooting at new places so if my clients have a suggestion I’m more than game to check it out. I tend to keep to the greater East Valley and typically only travel about 30 miles from my home in Tempe. But I am open to traveling a further distance for an added fee.

Fourth…

Can we talk?? Communication is key throughout my entire process. There are no questions too small or too silly that I won’t answer. If you have concerns, I’m here to help. I like to send out reminders the closer we get to our time together just to ensure we’re both on the same page. It’s better to overcommunicate than to have a miserable session because of misunderstandings.

Fifth…Sixth…

On the day of your only job is to show up and have fun! You don’t have to worry about your kids, I have tricks up my sleeve that look like mini marshmallows (because they are). I only ask that you trust me to guide you through the entire thing and have faith that we’ll make magic together. AND THEN…within 48 hours after our time together I’ll send you at least one sneak peek image. Just to satisfy your curiosity and increase your anticipation. Hahaha!!

Lastly…

Gallery delivery: 2-3 weeks post session you’ll receive from me an online gallery full of beautiful images of you! You’ll have the ability to download your images and make any print purchases directly from your gallery to be delivered to your home.

And that’s it! I know what it’s like to receive good service and I know what it means to receive bad service. I think we all do! As a service provider I strive to give my clients the best experience they deserve. All too often having your pictures taken is more stressful than fun but it shouldn’t be. I hope this helps you make more informed decisions about choosing your photographer, and I hope that maybe you’ll choose me!

All My Love,
